This workshop of drawings is inspired by the tiny neighbours that share our homes and gardens, hedgerows and imagination; ladybugs, flies, bees, beetles, paddy pigs, all manner of little critters.
2pm & 3.45pm For Ages 8-11
Working from life and resource material collected respectfully from around Sonairte's garden and ecology centre, we will spend se time looking closely at natural forms and use line, shape, consider negative space, light and shade to create coloured pencil drawings.
Funded by Creative Ireland, a day of free creativity for young people. This event is part of the Cruinniú na nÓg Big Day Out at Sonairte Ecolology Centre, and is a collaboration between Meath and Louth County Councils for this years Cruinniú na nÓg, produced by Droichead Arts Centre.
