Drogheda Traditional Music & Singing Weekend returns for 2023 celebrating its 27th year from Friday 24 November until Sunday 26 November 2023 with another exciting festival of Traditional Music and Singing in association with Droichead Arts Centre. 

This year's weekend will once again see the town come alive with music with singing concerts, talks, pub sessions, and a traditional céilí. It will encompass events throughout Drogheda including; venues, cafes, restaurants and bars, featuring some of Ireland’s most esteemed traditional singers and musicians as well as a collection of our best local talent.

Long known as Gerry ‘Fiddle’ O'Connor, this is one fiddler whose pulse is quickened by the sheer delight in the tunes. As a fourth-generation fiddle player, he knows the value of the shared tune. He has travelled the world over the past 40 years in a solo capacity and with various groups including Skylark and Lá Lugh. He regularly appears at the festival both as a performer and a teacher

All roads lead to O'Raghallaighs on the North Road at 3pm on Sunday 26th of November for an afternoon of music and dance and a traditional céilí with music from the reknowned céilí band 'Rise the Dust'.
